The Christian Army Comes a Marching

We all understand the relative importance of gathering a good education and endeavouring to keep our minds as open as we possibly can to new concepts and ideas. However when it comes to religious nutcases and even supposedly moderate religious people I find it extremely pertinent not to listen to their opinions on, well, these few things I suppose:

Creation - You will likely hear some garblewash about how God created the earth in a couple of days coz he was bored shitless and thought it would be fun to play puppets, and that there is obviously no evidence for Darwinian evolution which could possibly change their reputable consternation that they are in fact right about the whole big man in the sky thing. [My refutation - So when it rains, God is ejaculating right?]

Time/History - Inevitably their whole worldview on global timelines and history in general will be as extraneously warped as possible. The earth is apparently ten years old [sorry thousand - and despite time continueing to flow an ebb{yes I know it is a concept} it will always be only 10,000 years old. The profits and begetters of the begotten sould from Adam and Eve and apparently David comes in somewhere despite Jesus actually being born of no father and without his motheres genes, well they all lived for roughly 300 -400 years of age making this 10,000 year time line seem rather implausible to say the least [My refutation - So religion really isn't that accurate, I mean if you say religions been around since the dawn of time but you only started taking records recently how the fuck can you know how old the earth is?]

GLBT Rights - Obviously these people who are attracted to the same sex, wish they were another sex, or have sex with both sexes are inhuman androgenous heaps of shit, because the bible even says so somewhere. [My refutation - These people are some of the nicest people you can meet, they are happy with themselves and their choices and they are  far more moral than you, by the way have you actually read the bible in its entirety?]

Evolution - Is considered to be a pack of lies and completely baseless by almost al religious groups. Why? Well because it supplies a much better explanation of our purpose than their deity dinner party concoctions. [My refutation - It is all in the evidence...I can show you evidence evolution occurs, you cannot show me any evidence that there is an omnipotent, omniscietn, amoral/sorry moral deity sitting up in the sky.]

Death - According to religionists and their favourite story book. When we die we do not actually die, we are kept either in perpetual torment or perpetual bliss according to our actions whilst we were alive. In my opinion when we die, we die, that is it we rot. Why bother spending your whole life worried about what will happen when you die? What a waste, they say we are nihilists what with there being no purpose for life, we have our entertainment and our objectives and goals, the nihilistic approach is one that says our life doesn't matter but we still have to try to conform for all of it to a book of "guidelines" and then await judgement. No wonder these people are more afraid of dying than atheists. [My refutation - You have sinned by your book, in being prejudiced and horrible to people who don't support your faith you have lived unethically, there is pretty much absolutely no way into heaven by your books standards, so whats the point in believing in hell, it will only make you more afraid of death and more useless in life?]

This is part one. There may or may not be a part two depending on whether I write it or not. I hope you can take some points from this.
