As I sat musing silently, well with an urbane humm being generated from my earphones, I thought about the clothedness of humanity and how we see this as an advancement for our species. Or for the creationists out there: our fellow cyborgs.
Religiousites [aka religioushites™] are known for their lack of tolerance, mysogynistic approach to life, lack of self control and most importantly a lack of any clear morals.
I earlier posted about religious mens attitude to scantily clad women, yes it is disgusting they think that if they are half dressed they deserve to be raped. I hope they have fun in the showers in prison I truly do.
But what it got me thinking was this. We profess indecency as a sort of thing which is horrific, disgusting and it makes us feel queesy not to mention the charges of willful exposure when you streak around the pool table and indecent exposure when your left nut falls out of your budgie smugglers down the pool. But religioushites™ [ps. remember I coined this term] seem to put a whole other level of emphasis on the necessity to be clothed.
Here we reach the point:
WHY??????????
If their holy god created people as their tales and beliefs profess then he created them to be nude. It is unatural for people to wear clothes. Adam and Eve were naked despite the religioushites™ trying to cover up that era of their past with perfectly placed leaves. Hey they should be the ones campaigning for freedom to nudity, for women and men to be allowed to bear their chests if they so choose, instead of hiding behind their curtains proclaiming the devil inveted nudity...how on earth do they procreate? Glory holes? Fully clothed? IVF?
List of advantages of nudity:
*Easy to tell who is attracted to who
*Easy to work out who sexual offenders are
*No need to come out if you are gay
*Cooler in summer
*No need for swimming wear
*Drip dry quickly
*Nice breezes
*Much easier to see mating signs
List of disadvantages of nudity from religious perspective:
*Easy to get caught out if you like little kids
*Too hard to wait till marriage to procreate
*Can't control our desires
*Can't stop saying weiner and gusset
*Cold in winter
*Harder to listen to a sermon without laughing at the vicar
