Obama Comes Out of the Closet

President Obama has recently announced that he will be moving toward repealing laws which effect GLBT people in the US military. The current laws drafted in 1993 exclude people from the military who have openly disclosed their sexual preferences as being other than the stereotypical norm.

This hot on the heals of Obama being the recipient of the Nobel peace prize, well at least it looks like he is taking action to improve the rights of his citizens. I am glad that this move is being made.

The question hangs: Will the repealing of the current law be a success in this madly fundamentalist nation?

Only time will tell.
