What gets at me is that they claim to be "pro"life and hold that all life is sacred. Yet when it boils down to it, they will happily murder abortionists, people who have had abortions, or threaten their lives at the least. Is that not a glaring contradiction. All they care about is there being a chance to convert more children into religious beings, they don't give a shit about life, they give a shit about foetuses most of whom have no nervous function and all of which would not have any consciousness. Very much like a clam.
I was watching last night a detective/cop show where a prolife group had taken children from parents who had previously aborted and killing them. Now their catch phrase was 9 in 10 mothers when informed their child has Spina Biffida [spine does not fuse correctly] terminate the pregnancy, oh and of course all life is sacred - but hey an eye for an eye.
The first thought to me, training to be in the healthcare proffesion, was have these people seen what happens if a baby is born with cervical spina biffida? Yes lumbar and thoracic spina biffida can sometimes be rectified by surgery, but if it is cervical or even thoracic the hopes may not be so good, the child will be still born - why put the parents through all of that? For what - a clam.
