Naturally teachers, tutors, people will put a bias on anything they teach or say. That is the form of human nature to adhere to the ego being a driving force. If there is no ego how will we survive?
It's therefore extremely important to allow your own bias to effect some things first given the primacy effect (the first impression influencing subsequent thoughts). Thus if a tutor is to inform you that string is made from human hair then that will influence the way you view string.
This is also an important factor in any form of argument. Should your aim be to change the mindset of your adversary then it is undoubtedly best to present your side first.
Please note the above are demonstrated psychological principles based on statistical evidence from an array of studies. Im simply far too lazy to include a bibliography Here.
- It's time we said no to apathy for without religion we suffer no constraints.
